I'm so thankful to be an ex-smoker for more than twenty years. I was able to quit smoking by using patches, realizing that I needed to reduce my anxiety in different ways, chewing on gum, and practicing how to do things for almost a year before I was finally able to quit for more than a few hours. While I still like to munch on things, I often munch on vegetables. Plus, I exercise a lot. I'm very thankful now for the way food still tastes so great and for being able to exercise to use up the calories that I eat whenever I eat chocolate items. |
